Navigation for Young Explorers

Course description: Calling all explorers! In this class, we’ll learn how to find direction with a compass and read a map. Then we’ll use our new skills on a scavenger hunt around the park! Please dress for the weather and prepare for the chance of bugs. Participants will receive a simple compass to take home. All mobility abilities welcome: please note if there are mobility concerns during registration so that accommodations can be made.

Prerequisites: None, supplies/resources provided by instructor, no equipment needed
