Cohousing 101
An overview of a multifamily housing model started in Denmark and brought to the United States in the late 1980’s. Cohousing combines a collaborative and cooperative community of full-featured private residences with common spaces, activities, and governance (no shared income). Explore U.S. communities. Biography
Lee is a retired librarian from Brown University. She has lived in Duluth since 2014. Managing the care of her parents led to research into cohousing for her own future living.
