Level 2 participants learn to: Enter water by stepping or jumping from the side Exit water safely using ladder or side Open eyes underwater, pick up submerged object Float on front and back Perform front and back glide Swim on side Roll over from front to back, back to front Tread water using arm and leg motions Swim on front and back using combined strokes. **These are 4 week mini sessions. Please know that children should take this class at least 3 times. Children need to be very comfortable in the water and will start moving to the deep end of the pool. They will need to know their strokes well before moving up to Level 3.Spring/Summer 2026 -
Starting SoonLevel 1 Group LessonsSwim LessonsLevel 1 Introduction to Water Skills Purpose: Helps students feel comfortable in the water. Level 1 participants learn to: Enter and exit water safely Submerge mouth, nose and eyes Open eyes underwater, pick up submerged object Exhale underwater through mouth & nose Swim on front and back using arm and leg actions Follow basic water safety rules Max Students: 6 Minimum Age : 6 years old **These are 4 week mini sessions. Please know that children should take this class at least 3 times. Children need to be very comfortable in the water and can fully combine one stroke on their front and one stroke on their back well before moving up to Level 2.
