Level 1 participants learn to: Enter and exit water safely Submerge mouth, nose and eyes Open eyes underwater, pick up submerged object Exhale underwater through mouth & nose Swim on front and back using arm and leg actions Follow basic water safety rules Max Students: 6 Minimum Age : 6 years old **These are 4 week mini sessions. Please know that children should take this class at least 3 times. Children need to be very comfortable in the water and can fully combine one stroke on their front and one stroke on their back well before moving up to Level 2. Starting SoonLevel 2 Group LessonsSwim LessonsLevel 2 Fundamental Aquatic Skills Purpose: Gives students success with fundamental skills. Level 2 participants learn to: Enter water by stepping or jumping from the side Exit water safely using ladder or side Open eyes underwater, pick up submerged object Float on front and back Perform front and back glide Swim on side Roll over from front to back, back to front Tread water using arm and leg motions Swim on front and back using combined strokes. **These are 4 week mini sessions. Please know that children should take this class at least 3 times. Children need to be very comfortable in the water and will start moving to the deep end of the pool. They will need to know their strokes well before moving up to Level 3.Spring/Summer 2026 -
Starting SoonSwim CampSwim LessonsSwim camps give kids the opportunity to build on specific skills needed for competitive swimming while also working on strength in and out of the pool. Students interested MUST be able to swim without any floatation devices, are able to swim comfortably in the deep end, and swim 25 yards without stopping. Kids must be in a level 3 swim lesson to participate. This program will focus on stroke, start, and turn techniques in a fun environment. The camp is open to boys & girls who are in 3rd - 12th grade and/or who have passed level 2, who are interested in learning more about competitive swimming. ***Swim Team kids- Those looking for advanced conditioning, competitive training, and a positive pre season experience have a place at this camp too! Stroke development: freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. Advanced strokes and turns: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle. Competitive skills: starts, turns, and finishes. Safety First: Students interested MUST be able to swim without any floatation device. Able to swim comfortably in the deep end, tread water 1 minute Has completed Level 2 swim lessons, be comfortable in the deep end of the pool (*if child has not taken any previous swim lessons, they may be eligible by being assessed by coach). Equipment needed: Goggles - required Swimsuit Towel Swim Cap (optional) - Pro tip: helps keep long hair out of the eyes.Spring/Summer 2026 -

We must have a valid cell number to text. PLEASE ONLY REGISTER ADULTS IN THESE CLASSES. Register in all that apply currently to your family. Once your child ages out or moves on to a new level please email Kimm at kmiens1@isd94.org to move your registration to the next class. This will help in scheduling classes and keep better track of kids in their swim levels. Some cell phone companies do block our texts, so you are encouraged to also provide an email address as well.
