After School Enrichment has hired highly qualified coaches to provide students with detailed curricula and practice plans that have been developed over the past 20 years. This means that, when your child joins a DASH Sports program, they are not just participating in a camp — they are learning from coaches who use curricula refined through two decades of experience and proven results. As always, an After School Enrichment employee will be present at each and every class. Our Ultimate Games camp celebrates the best of the playground: Capture the Flag, Kickball, Dodgeball, Tag, Ultimate Frisbee, and more! Nature ImpressionsWashington ElementaryThis class will part indoors and part outdoors. Students will collect items outdoors on a guided nature walk, then we'll go inside and press our findings into air-dry clay. Projects will need to dry at home for two weeks. If we have enough time, we'll make solar prints outside as well!Fall 2026 -
Northern Outdoors ClubWashington ElementaryNorthern Outdoors Club owner, Cassie Janke, will teach students about outdoor education, recreation & safety here at Washington Elementary. It is imperative that your child brings appropriate outdoor gear to enjoy these outdoor classes. Dates/Classes Wednesday, September 23: Camping Adventure Have fun in this awesome active program by working in groups to make your shelter (tent) and hopefully survive a scenario by choosing the correct items to use. Then, make a small fire, guided by the instructor, for a sweet treat! Wednesday, October 14: Build a Bat House Learn about bats with Halloween approaching - when they are remembered the most! Each student will make their own take-home bat house and learn some of the best places to hang it to help our bug-eating bat friends! Wednesday, October 28: Spirit of the Pumpkin Get in the Halloween spirit by learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin! Each student gets to use safe, but not your average pumpkin carving tools, to create or destroy their own pumpkin (big or small) grown by the instructor, Cassie. We will also put our taste buds to the test by eating some fresh pumpkin items! Wednesday, November 25: Fire Master First, learn about the elements needed to create fire during this class. Then, learn & practice the many methods and skills from an older time to modern day to create fire! Also, make a take-home firestarter from recycled and foraged material for future campfire/ woodstove use. Wednesday, December 16: Feather Art Try out your art skills with painting on a feather! First, we’ll go through some bird identification, then make some cool take-home art projects involving feathers! This class is great for creating a homemade Christmas gift or discovering a new hobby! Feel free to freestyle or use instructor- provided designs/stencils.Fall 2026 -
