Early Childhood Educators and a registered nurse conduct the screening. Screening is a quick and simple check of how a child is growing and developing. The screening process takes approximately 1- 1/2 hours during which time your child will separate from you. They will meet with the Early Childhood Educator to participate in a Developmental Screening. Your child will then have his/her vision and hearing checked by the nurse. Parents, will remain in the registration room until after the screening. A screener will conduct the summary interview to address any concerns, if any, regarding your child’s development and health, after which you will receive a copy of the summary of the screening.
